ANTI-SEMITISM IS GROWING
Wednesday , December 10, 2003

Islamic scholar Bat Ye’or spoke recently on the growing anti-Semitism at the Hebrew University. He stated the anti-Semitism that is sweeping much of Europe is being led by the political and intellectual elites in Europe and by the Arab League.

Ye’or, who is Egyptian born and Swiss-based, charged that in the post-Christian Europe, a new cult of “Palestinianism” has been created.

From the moment the average European gets up in the morning and turns on his radio he is bombarded by the message that the world revolves around Palestine, not on the Muslim perpetuated genocide in the Sudan, with its two million Christian and Animist victims.

And “on the theological front,” Ye’or who is the world authority on the “protection” of Jews and Christians, told his audience that Christianity is being detached from it’s Jewish roots as the Jewish Jesus is replaced with an Arab Palestinian one, emphasizing the traditional Muslim view that Jesus was a Muslim prophet.

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon this week accused the E.U. of inaction in the face of rising anti-Semitism, and that alleged Muslims in Europe pose a threat to the lives of Jews.”

“The state of Israel cannot afford to deposit its destiny in the hands of the Europeans, who are known for their unbalanced policy.”

All of us should be concerned over the growing wall of anti-Semitism that is
taking the Western World by storm.

On November 15 a Jewish school near Paris was the target of an arson attack.
The occurrences are daily all over Europe.

What is so discouraging is that European leaders deny the anti-Semitism knowing full well that the driving force behind the hatred is radical Islam.

That same hatred is directed toward Christianity in America and we are warned
daily of new possible attacks on our cities.

It is high time for the U.S. to withdraw any objections toward Israel or toward
Israel’s security fence. Israel has exhausted every means of protecting her citizens.  Anti-Semitism is growing and her last resort is to build a security fence to deter terrorists. Where the fence is in place no suicide bomber has been able to infiltrate.

No one should ever be denied the right to protect his family.

Pray for Israel.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
Pray that President Bush will stand strong with Israel; definite and unwavering.
The power of prayer can protect Israel.
