THE TEN COMMANDMENTS RALLY: AN HISTORIC DAY
Monday, October 13, 2003

Dear friends,

Thank you from the bottom of my heart – to the many of you who were able to attend the Ten Commandments Rally in Habersham County, Georgia.  It was an historic day and we had over 750 people who were there to stand up for the Ten Commandments and recognize the Christian foundation of our great nation.

Thanks to all of you who called, sent emails and sent contributions. A movement like this – to support the right of people everywhere to acknowledge God’s laws, is expensive.

As you know the ACLU is out to strip this nation of every trace of our religious heritage.

It was a pastor who joined with the ACLU in Habersham County to file a lawsuit to have the Ten Commandments removed from public buildings. The case comes up in court in Gainesville, Georgia on October 20th.

If you would like to make a contribution toward the expenses of this rally and legal movement, please send your gift marked Ten Commandments to my attention at Family Concerns. To the many of you listening to this commentary who could not attend the rally and who live in other states, I want you to know you would be proud of your fellow Americans. I also want to encourage you not to be fearful of having a rally in your county or in your community. There are many of us who will come to help you if you desire help.

I am grateful to WRAF for their support. Bryan, Debbie, Maggie, Cathy and Danny
were there. They were a tremendous encouragement and we were so grateful
for their presence.

You know, when that Federal Judge, Myron Thompson ordered the removal
of the Ten Commandments monument from the Supreme Court building in Alabama, he came up against a sleeping giant, for the last time. That sleeping giant, the “Christians in America,” are now awake and they are ready to claim back the ground taken from them through unelected judges who are determined to interpret the Constitution according to their atheistic ideology.

The battle in America over the Ten Commandments will determine the kind
of people who will govern this nation. We must win. We will have no 2nd chance.

God is calling men, women, and children to stand up and defend their faith. The
Ten Commandments play a fundamental role in the preservation of the rule of law in our land. As Alexis de Tocqueville said, “…it was not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits aflame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power.” May we protect that goodness.

Please pray and fast for the court case of ACLU vs.Habersham County on
October 20, 2003.
