My Dear Friends,

“Justice has turned back and righteousness stands afar off, for the truth has fallen in the public squares, and righteousness cannot enter.” Isaiah 59: 14

Must we stand by and see our beloved country plundered of our Christian heritage?

What will it take on our part to fulfill the requirements of God’s Word that will in turn release Him to bring our Nation into real revival and back to true religious freedom?

We need a supernatural act of God to take place now in the affairs of our Nation. To bring about that supernatural act America must repent of having a form of godliness but a denial of the power thereof. When we bring God into the situation through fasting and prayer, we will see God turn darkness into light that will bring Him glory and extend His Kingdom.

America needs to witness this kind of prayer power. The world needs to witness a returning to God in America and a fresh Holy Spirit revival.

Revival is the sovereign stirring of God’s people and an outpouring of the Holy Spirit to the point that God is magnified in the hearts of men, women, and children and sin is revealed individually and personally. In revival God’s people experience brokenness and seek forgiveness for self-centeredness, pride, and complacency toward the things of God.

Following are five prayer principles to help you, your family and your church to meet the conditions in God’s Word so revival in America can be experienced.

1) Thank God for all He has done to bless our Nation more than we could ever ask or think. “I will bless the Lord at all times”.

2) Humble yourself through fasting and repentance by naming National sins such as idolatry, neglect of God’s Word, neglect of those in need, abortion, pornography, sexual permissiveness. “Righteousness exalts a nation.”

3) Pray for God to restore His Church and bring about a spiritual awakening across our land. “Be filled with the Spirit”.

4) Ask God to place God-fearing men and women into positions of leadership and authority in our Nation. Think of Joseph, Esther, Nehemiah and Daniel, “When the righteous are in authority the people rejoice”…

5) Proclaim your faith that God will answer these prayers. Without faith it is impossible to please God.

America needs an outpouring of God’s spirit. Join me in asking for spiritual rain from the Lord. God tells us in Isaiah 44: 3, “For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit upon your descendants, and My blessing on your offspring.”

As the Ten Commandments are removed from public view, God waits to see what we will do.  Will you rise up and take your place in history?
