PRAY FOR THE PROTECTION OF TEN COMMANDMENTS
Tuesday, August 19, 2003

I recently attended the meeting of the Habersham County, Georgia Commandments Support Fund; where there is quiet a battle to defend the
Ten Commandments.

Let me refresh your memory. A local pastor in Habersham County, Georgia, Bo Turner along with Greg Holder has teamed up with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) to have the Ten Commandments removed from every building in Habersham County.

The two men along with the ACLU and others in the County that do not know the truth of the separation of Church and State phrase rail on and on because they have come to believe, mistakenly, that the words separation of Church and State are represented in the U.S. Constitution or Bill of Rights. They are not.

However, because of this, the courts have used the separation of Church and State to restructure our public life and alter our culture by banning the hanging of the Ten Commandments in our schools or in public buildings and also to ban the Boy Scouts recently using a public park because their organization is considered “religious”.   The separation of Church and State was birthed during the 20th century and was based upon a quote in a letter written by Thomas Jefferson and taken out of context.

Please know, dear friends, that the First Amendment was never meant to separate Christian principles from our government. The First Amendment states: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise there of. As you can hear there is no mention of separation, Church or State.

If there had been any intention of separating Christian principles from government a court in 1799 would not have declared: “By our form of government, the Christian religion is the established religion; and all sects and denominations of Christians are placed on the same equal footing.”
Nor would the U. S. Supreme Court have said in 1892…”Our institutions are emphatically Christian.”

The Founders simply prevented the federal establishment of a single denomination.

Much more is going on than just the taking down of the Ten Commandments and the constant pressure on the Boy Scouts.

For globalization to take place and a world government to be instituted, western Christianity must be destroyed. States rights must be removed from these controversial areas. What it boils down to is States rights v. Federalism or the State v.Atheism.

Take Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore. He maintains that the Ten Commandments monument he placed in the Supreme Court Building in Alabama does not violate the Constitution a ban on state-established religion nor does he feel he is bound by rulings of the Federal Courts.

Watch now how the Federal Courts will seek to make Chief Justice Moore the scapegoat.  Already he is being fined $5,000 per day if the Ten Commandments are not removed and that may double to $10,000 per day soon.

The public is not told the truth. The public does not have a clue who financially supports the ACLU. But these kinds of anti-America organizations can always find those rebellious non-conformists who will support their cause to come against Jehovah God.

Do you think our Founders had the murder of abortion or the perversion of homosexuality guaranteed by the Constitution? Of course not! But the Courts have somehow found these.

Only God through our prayers and action can save America.
