THE CENTRALITY OF THE CROSS
Wednesday, February 25, 2004

Today is Ash Wednesday, February 25, 2004. Today Mel Gibson’s film entitled “The Passion of the Christ” will be released.

I have seen “The Passion of the Christ” and I am convinced it could spark a worldwide spiritual revival. No one will be the same ever after having seen this movie. May I urge you to purchase tickets for yourself and for someone else that you feel would benefit greatly from seeing this extraordinary account of the last hours of Christ’s life before the crucifixion.

If everyone who sees this film would take someone else, we could experience a revival here in America.

May I share also that there is to be released today an incredible and unique teaching series in response to the movie, “The Passion of the Christ.”

Over 20 years ago, Senior Pastor and teacher Mike Atkins was asked to teach on the subject “The Centrality of the Cross” as a guest lecturer at a Youth with a Mission training base in Amsterdam, Holland.

That one-week of teaching set the stage for what has been a lifelong call to teach the same series of lectures all over the world.

When talking about “The Centrality of the Cross”, Mike Atkins says: “I discovered years ago that virtually all non-Christians and most active believers have never really understood the full revelation of what happened during those hours Jesus spent on the Cross.” Atkins explained, the cross “impacts everything else in relationship to our understanding of what Christian truth is, who God is, and what He has accomplished in Christ.”

Those heralding “The Centrality of Cross” hail not only from the U. S. but also from Holland, Germany, New Zealand, Romania, and West Africa.

Four DVD’s and a study guide are available now. You may want to order these for your church or Bible study and can do so by visiting www.centralityofthecross.com

That the teaching of “The Centrality of the Cross” is available at the time of the showing of the film “The Passion of the Christ” must be a God ordered event.
