RADICAL MARXISM RAISING ITS HEAD

According to George Archibald, a conservative writer for the Washington Times, the critics of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at Reston, Virginia’s Langston Hughes Middle School and South Lake High School have declared the program to promote cultural egalitarianism, pacifism and anti-western bias.

“Administrators do not tell you that the current IB program for ages three through 12 promotes socialism, disarmament, radical environmentalism, and moral relativism, while attempting to undermine Christian religious values and national sovereignty”, said Jeanne Geiger, mother, and writer in a local Reston, Virginia newspaper.

Mrs. Geiger opposed her children being enrolled in International Baccalaureate classes because “the sociological ‘outcomes’ follow political correct thought and behavior assessments.”

It seems the IB coordinator at the Middle School believes in teaching children to “think globally.” Many colleges and selective institutions award credit for high-level IB exam scores.

Some schools will not award IB credit unless the students, and I am referring to high school students, have taken 6 required IB courses, written a 4,000-word essay like a college thesis and have 150 hours of extra curricular activities or community service. It seems the best and brightest of students are being indoctrinated into an anti-western philosophy!

I was sent materials recently on a student who left a communist country, where Marxism was forced on all students, who enrolled in San Francisco State University only to find herself in the middle of a “socialist brain-washing machine.”

Then, I read with disbelief materials on Ohio’s Oberlin College of radical political and sexual indoctrination by the faculty, and administration. Students on this campus attended an annual college-sponsored administration-approved “Safe Sex Night,” an orgy held on campus. The Student Newspaper described it as including sexually explicit videos played on T.V. screens with students sitting naked or semi-naked.

There is a radical leftist philosophy being pushed on college campuses. Oberlin College offers extreme indoctrination of Marxist activism and politically correct behavior assessments.

We must beware of the anti-western bias. It’s in our educational system and showing up in the far left Democrat Presidential campaigns.
