GUARDIANS OF THE TEN COMMANDMENTS - 2004
Monday, February 02, 2004

Family Concerns has had many to sign up to be “Guardians of the Ten Commandments.” We are so grateful for these prayer warriors. Weekly, we will relay to them through commentaries and newsletters the prayer needs in regard to the Ten Commandments, our Christian Heritage, our religious freedom and our national, state, and local leadership.

Following is a January, 2004 prayer for all of our Guardians and for you too, our dear listeners when you are to praying. If you want a copy, please call us.

Dear Heavenly Father,

In this year of our Lord, we are choosing you to be the Head of our Nation. As Guardians of the Ten Commandments, and prayer warriors, we surrender our will to you and we pray that thy will be done on this earth as it is in heaven.

We thank you for your Divine protection during 2003. We thank you for your healing and restoration in many areas and for your special blessings.

Thank you that for many years we have received answers to prayers, yet still we know there is always the temptation to rely on worldly means instead of depending on you.

America has sinned against you. We have left our first love. We have removed prayer, the Bible and the Ten Commandments from our children. We are fearful of losing “Under God” in our pledge and “In God We Trust” on our coins.

We pray for your precious Word, in the Ten Commandments. We know You and
your Word are inseparable.

We have forsaken the Law of Go due to Sin and compromise. We have as a people exchanged the glory of God for things less precious and we and our church have lost our spiritual influence.

Please forgive us. We plead for the very soul of America. We pray for the Church
of the living God that it will become alive and filled with your Spirit.

Lord, please do not pass us by. May we set our hearts on you. May we as a people enter into a covenant to seek you, Creator God, with all our heart and soul.

We know that the eyes of You, Lord, move to and fro throughout the earth
that you may strongly support those whose heart is completely yours.

We pray for your precious Word, in the Ten Commandments. We know You and
your Word are inseparable.

We know that our power is in you Lord God and we are powerless against the
attacks of the enemy without your protection.

America needs you, Israel needs you and we beseech You to have mercy upon us and heal our land.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen
