BECOME GUARDIANS FOR THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
Monday , January 19, 2004

America is historically a Christian nation not because of the faith of our Founding Fathers, but because Creator God’s biblical principles are the source of American law and civil government.

There is a humanist and atheist effort now in this country, supported by the ACLU, to remove God and every trace of Christianity from public life and place God, the Bible, and the Ten Commandments behind the closed doors of the church.

The ACLU is at work seeking to overthrow America’s Christian foundation based on the Law of Nature, by separating church and state and redefining America by equating the Bible with secular humanism.

I am grateful to Judge Roy Moore for his stand in Alabama. He knew that his oath to uphold the Alabama Constitution and the U.S. Constitution, which
call upon the name of the Lord, denoted the same Lord of the Ten Commandments. He has taken a stand against the separation of church and state and is defending Alabama’s State Constitution and the U.S. Constitution because both documents rely on the Old and New Testaments.

It is from Creator God that we receive liberty and protection, it is from God that we receive rights, not from the State. It will be in returning prayer, Bible reading, and the Ten Commandments to our schools that strengthens America to remain strong.

Family Concerns is initiating “Guardians of the Ten Commandments,” a group of prayer warriors to pray specifically for the Ten Commandments. By “Guardian,” we mean those willing to guard by becoming a committed prayer Guardian.
If you make the decision to become a “Guardian” of the Ten Commandments
and your church family would be interested in becoming “Guardians of the Ten Commandments”, please call us at (706) 754-8321 or write to us giving your name, your church, your address, and phone number, and email address.

Family Concerns will update you each week of prayer needs in our nation that relate to our Ten Commandments, our Bible, our Christian heritage, and to America’s Constitution. Prayer is where the work is done.

We need the Divine protection of God over our nation, our leadership and over
our families. Thank you for your consideration of this commentary to
become, along with your church “Guardians of the Ten Commandments”
as together we seek the face of God for purposes of good for our land.
