| WANTED:
GUARDIANS OF THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
Thursday , January 08, 2004
The battle to protect the Ten Commandments in America is the battle
of every American who believes in the First Amendment. While most
God fearing Americans have been hard at work raising their families
and paying their taxes, opponents of their faith have been silently
working to remove religious freedom and public acknowledgement of
God.
Those who would like to remove God’s name from public view
or from public records are enemies of the Ten Commandments and of
the U. S. Constitution.
Consider the fact that there is no conflict between the Constitution,
the Ten Commandments and the Bible. Constitutional principles are
taught in the Bible and in the Ten Commandments.
The Ten Commandments were created by God and they make up the greatest
document on the face of the earth. The Constitution is the greatest
document created by man for self-government under the rule of law.
If the Ten Commandments are followed, man can experience freedom
from sin. If the Constitution is followed by judges and those in
positions of leadership, citizens can experience freedom from tyranny.
But how can we have something in which we have no knowledge. The
Constitution is not taught in our schools and the Bible has been
removed.
God says, “we perish for lack of knowledge.”
Today, with the help of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU),
judges are plundering our Judeo-Christian Heritage. The tyranny
of the Federal judges to eliminate God, religion, state, sovereignty,
the Bible, and prayer are all examples of the theft of our Christian
heritage.
I am asking today for God to raise up “Guardians of the Ten
Commandments:”
real prayer Guardians to pray for the protection of the Ten Commandments.
Prayer is needed for jurisdiction limitation legislation, victories
in courthouses and for courageous Americans standing up for freedom
on many fronts.
If you will be a prayer Guardian for the Ten Commandments please
call the Family Concerns office at 706-754-8321. We will update
you weekly as to the prayer needs. Please consider this calling
as an assignment from God. It will create in 2004 a new level of
commitment. It will involve faithfulness
and sacrifice.
I am confident we will see God’s grace, mercy, and protection
as we pray.
“Call unto me and I will show you great and mighty things
which thou knowest not.” Jeremiah 33:3
