CRITICAL ISSUES AND GUARDIANS OF PRAYER
Monday , January 05, 2004

As we begin a new year, I want to take this opportunity to thank you our wonderful listeners for all your calls, your letters, and your prayers/support. You have been a real encouragement to us at Family Concerns. We thank God for you.

Many of you have indicated to us that you have taken a stand on moral issues for the first time. You made phone calls, sent emails, and faxed your opinions from a Biblical point of view. You were bold, honest, and forthright. You helped bring about change in many areas. If we are to reverse the leftist stranglehold on Christianity in America, it will take everyone doing everything they can. We cannot “remain silent” at “such
a time as this.”

I want to thank the Toccoa Falls College Radio Network with its awesome staff for affording me the opportunity to bring you truth on the issues from a Christian worldview. In 2003 we discussed:

• the hidden abuse of children in the Catholic Church;
• the importance of a ban on partial birth abortion;
• the Supreme Court’s approval of homosexual sex;
• the State of Massachusetts legitimizing same sex marriage;
• the ruling to remove “under God” in the pledge;
• the approval of an open homosexual in position of Bishop in the Episcopal Church;
• the removal of Chief Justice Roy Moore from office;
• the battle over the Ten Commandment displays in the nation;
• the removal of Christ in Christmas;
• the loss of property rights;
• the need to withdraw the U.S. from the U.N.;
• the importance of guarding our borders from illegal aliens while protecting our liberty;
• the tyranny of our Federal judges to eliminate God, religion, and Judeo-Christian values from society;
• the importance of returning our children’s education over to parents;
• the war in Iraq; and
• the Peace of Jerusalem and our disapproval with the “Road Map.”

All of these issues are of great importance, but I believe the Ten Commandments issue to be the determining factor of whether we stand up for our spiritual beliefs, Jew and Gentile alike, or become a nation void of God.

God in 2004 is calling Christians to a new level of commitment. It involves faithfulness, obedience, sacrifice and even martyrdom. God is calling us to forsake every idol, forsake the flesh driven churches, and the materialistic preachers, and make the Lord Jesus our center
of worship.

I want in the next two weeks to mobilize a prayer army for the Ten Commandments in America. In Habersham County, Georgia alone we will appeal to a higher court the ruling by a liberal judge. Other counties are in heated battles. We need thousands of “Guardians of the Ten Commandments.”

Will you become a guardian of the Ten Commandments and commit to pray?
